We are currently seeking Estimators in CT, ME, MA, PA, and other locations. The applicant should have applicable experience estimating heavy highway, bridge, civil and airport construction projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Quantify project components assigned by the lead estimator
• Visit project to understand site conditions/restrictions
• Work with the estimating team bidding the project to build the estimate, then price assigned items in HCSS
• Work on a preliminary project schedule based on the information provided in the plans and specifications utilizing Primavera P6 or Primavera Contractor software
• Work with the team to close the estimate Qualifications include:
• BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Estimator or office/field engineer
• HCSS experience is required
• JDEdwards experience is desirable
• Experience in all aspects of heavy/highway work preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
