The Crane Operator is responsible for safe and effective operation of various truck-mounted and rough terrain equipment.  Responsible for other construction related activities at the direction of project leader.

Principal Accountabilities:
•  Responsible for operations to/from jobsites. 
•  Responsible for operating equipment as directed by project superintendent / foreman.
•  Clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by policies and procedures.
•  Close interaction with operations manager for the movement materials, supplies, equipment and setting.
•  Operate crane in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.
•  Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
•  Clean equipment as scheduled and/or required
•  Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored

Knowledge & Skills:
•    Drivers License Required
•    Knowledge of equipment safety, equipment maintenance and storage
•    Analytical and problem solving skills
•    Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, and stoop and have ability to work around equipment, materials, supplies and other items as required.
•    Work with limited supervision
•    Perform other duties as assigned.
•    Travel required, with stays up to 10 consecutive days.
•    May work extended hours 7 days a week for short periods.

Experience:
•    5 Years experience preferred
•    NCCO or other certification preferred
•    Current MSHA surface training

Successful candidate must have valid CDL with good driving record.  MVR required.  Pre-employment drug & alcohol testing required with minimum annual re-testing.
