Title: Safety Coordinator |

| Description: |
The Safety Coordinator shall be responsible for manageing safety on the projejct, including maintenance and repair activities in accordance with Safety and Health program. The qualified individual shall coordinate each aspect of the safety program; develop, plan and conduct employee safety trainings; coordinate safety for each construction project; evaluate and implement safety work practices and procedures; be able to identify unsafe work practices, conditions and/or equipment, and find practical solutions to correct deficiencies; evaluate use of personal protective equipment; attentive to fall protection around open shafts, perform accident/mishap investigations; and communicate accident and loss control information to management or corporate personnel.
In addition, individual shall be required to forward all mishap and near-miss information (e.g., Accident Investigation Report) to Safety Director and Management in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Admin. standard (OSHA 29 CFR 1904), and evaluate safety program effectivenes.
In addition, the Safety Coordinator shall be required to perform Job Hazard Analyses to evaluate work-related hazards. Routine responsibilities include monthly Weekly Safety Audits, Daily job-site inspections, monitor excavation activities, confined space entry operations, possible assist with industrial hygiene surveys, and preparation of reports and deliverables.

| Additional Requirements:
Candidate must obtain Construction Health and Safety Technician certification within six (6) months of hire through company-sponsored training and development program. For consideration, all candidates must successfully complete pre-employment process, which includes: skills assessment, drug and alcohol screening, interview, physical examination, etc. |
