Title: Environmental Civil Engineer/PM

Innovative Technical Solutions, Inc. (ITSI) is an international Engineering and Environmental Consulting firm based in Walnut Creek, California. Our clients include the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Energy (DOE), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and other Federal, State and Municipal clients.

We are seeking an Environmental Project Manager/Civil Engineer for our Walnut Creek corporate office or Sacramento, CA office.

Responsibilities:

Sr. Project Manager under EPA RAC II Program for Superfund projects that include site investigation, design, and remedial construction

Technical lead as Civil Engineer for environmental construction projects

Technical resource for engineering design, installation, monitoring, evaluation, and implementation of cleanup systems

Additional Requirements:

Strong technical skills in Civil Engineering

15+ years experience in design and design-build remedial construction projects

Strong project financial and personnel management skills; schedule and cost control/change management skills

Proven Federal (environmental) agency client management experience (EPA region 9 preferred); experience on tribal lands projects

Strong verbal and written communication skills, and working familiarity with CERCLA, RCRA RI/FS, RDRA Plans, Specs, and Reports

Practical field engineer/site manager/QC experience (15 yrs +) in environmental projects and major civil components and multiple subcontractors

BS in Civil, Geologic in Environmental Engineering: MS In Civil Engineering a plus

PE in California (reciprocal in AZ and NV a plus)
